HIGHnet is a family company set up in 1994 to provide low cost calling solutions across the Highlands of Scotland.  The company grew rapidly picking up awards on the way, and now provides a full range of telecommunications services to businesses across the whole of Scotland and beyond.  Based in Inverness, the capital of the Highlands of Scotland, we are able to blend a sound and sustainable business with quality of life. Our staff are dedicated and proud – and this is reflected in our first class service delivery.

At HIGHnet we have our own unique billing platform, which means that regardless of the number of HIGHnet services your company uses, you need only receive one fully detailed, easy to understand, consolidated bill. Our billing solutions can however be tailored to meet your own individual needs. We listen to your requirements in order to meet and often exceed your needs. Your bill will be customised, so whether you need it in paper, online, email or disk format, you will be in complete control.


HIGHnet is committed to protecting the environment. We are aiming to become a paperless office, and we encourage all our customers to help us by receiving their bills by email. By doing this, we reduce paper, toxic print consumables and vehicles on the road. Our in-house IP telephony system also reduces the amount of energy we consume, making our premises energy efficient.
