Introducing our New Starters at HighNet

Great news – the HighNet team is growing!

It’s a busy time for us at HighNet and to ensure we keep moving forward and delivering the best we can for our customers we have recently welcomed four new key recruits into the HighNet family. We are delighted to have them on board to help us deliver our exciting plans for the future, and here they are.

Graham Roger – Sales & Marketing Manager

Graham has been involved in Telecoms and IT for many years and so brings with him a wealth of experience. Most recently he worked for Daisy and Vodafone, where he had a great track record of driving success through effective sales and marketing. Graham is passionate about all things sales, and believes that no matter what the role, everyone should keep a “sales hat on” and should always be asking contacts what else we can do for them. His approach is to be clear, fair and consultative with his team – the perfect fit for HighNet.

“I am absolutely delighted to join HighNet, with its strong values, brand and excellent reputation for customer service. I already love the size and feel of the place and everyone has been so welcoming and willing to help, thank you! I look forward to working together and growing the business as one.”

Louise Antley – Company Accountant

Louise has lived and worked in Inverness for the past 5 years and we are delighted to have her on board to further strengthen our accounts function. A qualified accountant, graduating from University of Glasgow, Louise enjoyed some travelling before settling down in Inverness. As Company Accountant she will be running the finance team and taking on the key role of implementing important processes and procedures that will prepare us for future growth.

“I’m really excited to play a part in HighNet’s future success. It’s great to be a part of a local company providing national services and showing others in the telecoms industry how it’s done.”

Bright Samazie – Network engineer

Bright has over 17 years of IT infrastructure support experience. Mostly, this has been providing onsite customer facing support and developing IT Network Solutions for clients. Since graduating from Glasgow Caledonian University with a degree in Network and Systems Engineering, Bright has worked for an impressive list of top companies such as Vodafone, Scottish Power and Tesco Bank. His main role at HighNet will be to deliver projects, liaise with third party and vendors to resolve technical incidents and to maintain the network availability at Service Level Agreement percentages or higher.

“I’m really delighted to join the HighNet team, and it instantly feels like a great place to work. I love how motivated everyone is and the plans for the future make it an exciting place to be.”

Graham Burton – Sales Business Development Manager

He tells us he’s a poor golfer, but we don’t believe him! 25 years ago, Graham joined BT as a Call Centre agent and for the next 22 years worked in various sales roles, so he brings a huge amount of sales and business development experience with him. He believes in teamwork, hard work and a bit of socialising too, and is already proving to be a great addition to the sales management team.

“I’m looking forward to working at an exciting, ambitious company like HighNet. The staff have been so helpful and pleasant so far. I hope to return the compliment soon. Having worked in a large corporate I look forward to the flexibility and nimbleness that comes with a family business. Also, Plain Sailing is my kind of motto.”

Welcome to HighNet, we are delighted to have you all on board.
